Growing a Tower Building a case for a sustainable high density building

The studio tries to propose an alternative to the single-purpose luxury office or residential towers in the city's center. It is based on the understanding that a shift to high-density buildings is necessary for countries such as Israel, where the available sites for construction is scarce and expensive. Moreover, it is already clear that high-density buildings are substantially more sustainable than other building typologies (when environmental, social, and economic aspects are considered). Therefore, the studio will examine various types of building organization of high-density buildings and their effect on the building's sustainability. The examination will be based on using both design and simulation digital tools.
