T_CODE is an experimental computer oriented design research laboratory based at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. The laboratory offers an environment for advanced research in design, history and theory of architecture.
The laboratory was founded in 2003 as an undergraduate experimental design research studio laboratory. From 2010 it has shifted it emphasis towards advanced academic research. The laboratory offers graduate research (both MSc and PhD) and post doctoral research.
The research laboratory includes an advanced digital fabrication workshop (TCOM) that offers 3D cutting, milling, scanning and printing. For more information on these technologies please click here.
